What is Hardboard?
Hardboard, otherwise known as Masonite, is a high-density fibreboard (HDF). It is an engineered wood product that’s manufactured by highly compressing exploded wood fibres. As compared to medium density engineered wood boards, the hardboard is remarkably dense and hard, therefore, strong as well.

Hardboard is an ideal material for many wood structures, including but not limited to furniture, automobiles, appliances, cupboards, construction, flooring, and many more. This is because hardboard panels are not prone to cracks or splits, and can withstand heavy-duty conditions.
